Nothing Phone 2 Reviews

Introduction:

The Nothing Phone 2 makes its debut one year after its predecessor of launching Nothing Phone, and it makes an amazing significant relevant upgrade – to work on to improve screen, flagship hardware, enhanced camera pixel quality, and faster charging. The Glyph UI has also been expanded to complement the overall experience.

The Nothing Phone 2 is indeed following according to their predecessor, and has been thought of as a gimmick – the Glyph UI is here to stay, and now it offers some new cool functionality.

Enhanced Display:

Now, the Nothing Phone 2 launches with a larger 6.7″ AMOLED screen display featuring an improved LTPO panel. This panel allows users a dynamic refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz. The display supports 10-bit color depth, HDR10+, 240Hz high-speed touch response, and up to 1,000 units of sunlight brightness.

Powerhouse Chipset:

The most notable upgrade in this phone is the chipset. The Nothing Phone 2 features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 778G+ in the previous model. With this upgrade, the Nothing Phone transitions from a midrange to a flagship-class chipset.

Upgraded Camera System:

The Nothing Phone 2 supports dual 50 MP cameras on the back, similar to the previous version, with wide and ultrawide lenses. However, the new ISP and advanced development algorithms now allow for clearer data capture. The 2X super-res zoom also benefits from this upgrade.

Enhanced Battery and Charging:

The phone now has a 4,700mAh battery capacity. Wired charging has improved to 45W fast charging, up from the previous 33W charge. It also supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging options.

Versatile Charging Options:

The final improvement, though not visible, is the upgraded ingress protection from IP53 to IP54. This means the Nothing Phone 2 can now survive splashing water for about 10 minutes.
