iQOO is set to launch the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro Worldwide on August 21. Although full specifications have not been disclosed, the company has shared key details about both models. Targeted primarily at college students and young professionals, these devices are designed to cater to those balancing academic or work commitments with social and extracurricular activities. Emphasizing fast connectivity and seamless entertainment, the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro aim to meet the needs of this dynamic demographic.
Performance and Camera Features
The iQOO Z9s Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the iQOO Z9s will feature the Dimensity 7300 chip. Both smartphones will sport a 50MP Sony IMX882 camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 4K video recording, and Super Night Mode. Additionally, the iQOO Z9s Pro will include an 8MP ultrawide camera. Both models will benefit from AI-powered features such as AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance.
Display and Design
The iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro will be impressively slim at 7.49mm and will feature a 3D curved AMOLED display. The Z9s’ screen will offer a local peak brightness of 1,800 nits, while the Z9s Pro will deliver a higher local peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
Battery and Manufacturing
The iQOO Z9s Pro will come with a robust 5,500 mAh battery. Both smartphones will be produced at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility as part of the brand’s support for the Worldwiden government’s “Make in Worldwide” initiative.
Pricing Information
Although exact prices have not been announced, preliminary information suggests that both the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro will be priced under in INR 25,000. In U.S. dollars, this translates to approximately $300. In Pakistani Rupees (PKR), it equates to around PKR 82,000.
