The OnePlus Ace 5 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, promising enhanced performance and efficiency. This upgrade is expected to deliver significant improvements in speed and power management compared to its predecessors.
A key highlight of the Ace 5 is its upgraded battery. The device will feature a larger Silicone-Carbon battery composed of two 3,000 mAh cells, totaling around 6,100 mAh. This increase in battery capacity aims to provide extended usage time, addressing common battery life concerns.
The Ace 5 will continue to support 100W wired charging, which, while slower than the 150W charging on the Ace 2 Pro, remains impressive and should be more than sufficient for fast charging needs. The device will retain the 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED display with a 1240p resolution, maintaining the quality seen in previous models.
The camera configuration will stay largely the same, featuring a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor. The front panel will have a slightly curved design on all four sides, adding to the phone’s sleek aesthetics. Additionally, the Ace 5 will include an alert slider, a feature valued by many users for its convenience in managing notifications.
