Realme has announced its new Realme 320W SuperSonic Charge technology, which is now the fastest smartphone charging system available. This technology can fully charge a smartphone in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Within the first minute, it charges the battery to 26%, and in less than two minutes, it can exceed 50% charge. This makes charging your phone incredibly quick and convenient.
Comparison with Other Technologies
This new 320W SuperSonic Charge is faster than Xiaomi’s 300W charging technology. While Xiaomi’s system takes 4 minutes and 55 seconds to fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery, Realme’s technology can charge a 4,400 mAh battery in under 5 minutes. This improvement in speed demonstrates Realme’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of fast charging.
Power Adapter and Its Features
Realme’s 320W charger is called the “Pocket Cannon.” It has a power density of 3.3W/cm³ and is about the same size as their previous 240W charger. The Pocket Cannon supports various charging standards, including UFCS (up to 320W), PD, and SuperVOOC. It also has two USB-C ports, allowing you to charge a Realme phone at 150W and a compatible laptop at 65W at the same time.
Innovative Safety Features
Realme also introduced the “AirGap” Voltage Transformer, which uses a contact-free system to keep high voltage away from the battery, improving safety during charging. This transformer is very small and reduces the voltage to 20V, helping the charger achieve about 98% efficiency.
New Battery Design for Realme 320W SuperSonic Charge
Realme has also developed a new 4,420 mAh battery that is folded and thinner than traditional batteries. This design increases the battery’s capacity by 10% and hints that Realme might be working on a new foldable phone.
Other New Technologies
At the event, Realme showed off several other innovations. The new solid-state button allows for smooth operation and includes a tactile control for camera functions. The anti-reflective display reduces glare by up to 80%, making it easier to see in bright sunlight. Additionally, Realme introduced AI Motion Picture, which turns single images into short videos, and AI Gaming Super Resolution for better gaming visuals. The new Realme Holo Audio adjusts sound positioning for an immersive gaming experience.
